I am an enrolled agent and have been preparing taxes professionally for 13 years. Prior to my tax preparation career, I worked as a life insurance actuary (FSA and MAAA). My primary focus was in corporate financial reporting and taxes.

I find tax preparation to be a great retirement job. Preparing tax returns allows me to work one on one with clients and gives me the opportunity to solve the technical challenges associated with navigating the tax laws.
